Abstract

The event signal is emitted by fault sensor on electrical distribution network. Resultant voltage signal is measured and displayed in numerical form. Signal to be measured is applied via low pass filter (1) to amplitude detector (2) whose amplifier (20) drives current modulator (24) with input to isolating amplifier (27). A resistance bridge (28) output is passed to analogue to digital converter (6) which provides input to buffer memory (7). FET switches (13, 21) at filter provide blocking signals for isolating circuit (29) at output of a multivibrator (4). A buffer (3) releases or blocks multivibrator when even is signalled (30) allowing a univibrator (5) to clock the buffer memory to display (8).
