Abstract

The percentage or vol. of cells is biological medium is determined by measuring variation of electrical impedance. Different frequencies are simultaneously applied to electrodes and difference in impedance compared with reference values. A probe (1) has two electrodes (2, 3) one of which is grounded. The other electrode is coupled to two independent circuits (4a, 4b) each comprising an oscillator (5) and measuring circuit (6) with an amplifier (7) connected to a detector (8). The detector outputs are applied to differential input amplifier with comparators (11) at the output. Luminous indicators (12) provide warning of level.
