Abstract

The bottle cap unscrewing tool comprises a grip (1) to which a strip (10) is fixed, of flexible material with good adhesion characteristics. The strip forms a loop returning to the grip, and a cam (3) pivots at one end of the latter, so as to clamp the two strip ends together during use and at the same time press them hard against the surface of the cap round which the loops fit. The grip can be of U-section, with the strip fixed to the bottom of the U, while the cam pivots on a spindle fitting between the two arms, at one end of the grip.
