Abstract

A framework for supporting hollow panels for walls or partitions is made from strip material bent to form a square (1). This square is divided in four smaller squares (2) by strips joining the mid points of opposite sides. A wider diagonal member is fitted into each smaller square. These diagonal strips have slots (6) at their mid points with a length equal to half the width of the strip. These slots (6) enable two such frameworks to be clipped together side by side to increase the overall wall thickness.
