Abstract

A universal corner bracket for woodwork is made from a long strip (10) of sheet steel. The strip has a central longitudinal groove (9) and a number of equally spaced transverse grooves (8). A relatively large hole (2) is made at the intersection of the longitudinal groove with each alternate transverse groove. These grooves and holes enable the strip to be broken into segments and then folded to form angle brackets. These brackets are then fixed with screws through the rows of smaller holes (5) which lie on either side of the central groove (9).
