Abstract

The valve has a piston (28) connected to the rod (27) and joined to a controller which enables the piston to be positioned. The piston rod is integral with the handle (24), attached to the side of the cover (21). The inner bore (18) of the cover matches the exterior face of the central plug (13). The piston rod is positioned by a spring (33) through a collar (35), and sealed by a joint (30). The flow is regulated by movement of the piston in the valve bore (7) in the valve housing.
