Abstract

Système de transmission de données décentralisé par commutation de messages entre plusieurs stations de transmission. Ce système comporte une station de contrôle 1 et des stations de transmission 3, toutes connectées au support de transmission haute vitesse 2 tel qu'un câble coaxial, la station de contrôle transmettant l'adresse d'une première station pour lui permettre de transmettre un message à une autre station qui est reçu par toutes les stations, mais intercepté seulement par la station destinatrice. Lorsque la station de contrôle reconnaît le caractère de fin de message si la station a un message à transmettre, ou le caractère d'inoccupation qu'elle envoie si elle n'a pas de message à transmettre, la station de contrôle transmet l'adresse d'une autre station. Un tel système de transmission est particulièrement adapté pour être utilisé de façon interne à un site, un établissement ou un bâtiment.
