Abstract

The cable support holds an electric cable under tension without straining the contact itself. The support comprises a stirrup (2) with a hole in its base (3) for the passage of the cable (C). Between the two sides of the stirrup lies a sleeve (1) through which the cable passes. This holds the cable in place. The top ends of the stirrup are fastened together by a pin (6) and it is by this pin that the support is held. A short free length of cable is provided to make the connection by terminal (5).
