Abstract

The casing is intended to contain an insulating layer around a valve, in a fluid distribution conduit. It has an opening (21) for an element of the valve and, on either side of this, openings (31, 41) for the inlet and discharge pipes. The casing is made in a single piece of elastic material and has a line of separation on which the three openings lie. The casing may be of vulcanised elastomer or a plastic material of low heat conductivity. The necessary elasticity may be conferred by a frame of elastic material.
