a. Appareil d'éclairage destiné notamment à être installé en plein air. b. Appareil d'éclairage caractérisé en ce qu'il comporte une structure en un matériau offrant une grande résistance mécanique, cette structure présentant une forme générale pyramidale ou conique, une echancrure étant pratiquée dans la paroi latérale de cette pyramide ou de ce cône, la surface interne de cette échancrure la plus proche de la base de la pyramide ou du cône étant orientée et traitée de façon à réfléchir et à diffuser, dans les directions désirées, la lumière en provenance d'une source lumineuse située dans le sommet, éventuellement tronqué, de la pyramide ou du cône, à l'intérieur d'un logement place en communication avec l'échancrure, cette source lumineuse émettant sa lumière essentiellement dans la direction de la base de la pyramide ou du cône.
