Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de mesure et une pile de concentration utilisant un électrolyte solide pour surveiller un constituant dans un mélange fluide. On applique une concentration connue de gaz sur une première partie d'une surface d'un conducteur d'ions; on applique une concentration inconnue de gaz à la seconde partie de ce conducteur, et l'on fait varier la concentration connue pour maintenir une conduction fixe des ions de gaz de la première partie à l'autre, en exposant cette première partie à de l'oxygène gazeux provenant d'un système de référence métal/oxyde de ce métal. On fait varier la température de ce système de référence pour maintenir le taux fixe de conduction. La pile de concentration peut servir à mesurer la concentration en oxygène d'une atmosphère.
