Abstract

The facing panel (2) for house walls (1) and ceilings consists of a panel made from a hard cellular plastic or mineral fibres (3) covered with a laminated sheet of plywood to which a layer of printed paper (5) can be glued under pressure. The paper can be covered with a layer of protective lacquer or the plywood itself can be printed and lacquered. The thickness of the paper layer is less than the plywood layer which is less than the panel. The edges of the panels are chamfered (8) and provided with grooves and ribs to allow panels to be assembled together.
