Abstract

L'invention a pour objet la préparation de copolymères statistiques de dicyclopentadiène et de composés monocycliques insatures tels que le cyclopentène, le cyclooctène, le 1,5-cyclooctadiène et le 1,5,9-cyclododécatiène. On polymérise en continu ou en discontinu, un mélange des deux composants indiqués en présence d'un catalyseur comprenant de l'hexachlorure de tungstène, un composé organique de silicium particulier, un éther particulier et un composé organique d'étain particulier. Production avec des rendements élevés de copolymères allant de thermosplastiques à élastomères.
