Abstract

Le mors avant comporte essentiellement un verrou pivotant 14, qui comporte des évidements 16, dans lesquels engrènent les butées de pivotement 15 de la plaque de base 1. La pièce de fixation de la semelle 18 s'articule à l'extrémité arrière du verrou pivotant 14 au moyen d'un tourillon 17 et comporte une courte plaque de semelle 19 qui s'appuie sur le ski par une couche de frottement 20. Le verrou pivotant 14 et la chaussure de ski forment un << levier à genouillère >> qui reste normalement en position infléchie, soit en position normale, soit aussi longtemps que la déviation reste dans le domaine où le skieur peut rétablir son équilibre; ce n'est que lorsque la déviation dépasse le domaine ou le skieur peut retablir son équilibre que ce levier à genouillère passe en position d'extension et libere la chaussure de ski.
