Abstract

The appts. permits operation of the pump for an agricultural sprayer by the power take off shaft of the tractor or a ground wheel of the sprayer. In this way an output proportional to the speed of advance is obtained. This permits operation of the pump when the sprayer is stationary. It also ensures that pressure is instantaneously available at the sprayer distributors on starting from rest without requiring a power input from the sprayer ground wheel.
