Procédé d'usinage par électro-érosion et système pour sa mise en oeuvre, avec usinage du fond de l'empreinte et usinage des flancs par mouvement latéral. Une électrode 9 usine une pièce 3. L'avance de la broche 6 est commandée par une servo-commande 13 en fonction de la tension électrode-pièce. Le mécanisme de mouvement latéral 7 reçoit des ordres d'augmentation d'excitation en fonction du niveau atteint par l'électrode.
