Abstract

Machining process by electro-erosion and system for applying such process, with machining of the bottom of the impression and machining of the flanks by lateral motion. An electrode (9) machines a piece (3). The feed of the drift (6) is controlled by a servo-control (13) according to the electrode-piece tension. The mechanism of the lateral motion (7) receives orders for increasing excitation according to the level reached by the electrode. This level is measured in a U tube (21) tilled with liquid and provided with conducting barbs which define the different levels. Application to machining by electroerosion particularly of complex-shaped pieces.
