Abstract

L'invention a pour objet une serviette hygiénique, couche ou produit allongé similaire et son procédé de fabrication. Le produit comprend un corps absorbant 1 ayant un revêtement perméable aux liquides 5 et, au moins, une couche d'arrêt pratiquement imperméable aux liquides 2 disposée entre le revêtement et le corps, ladite couche d'arrêt entourant à la fois la face du corps qui sera opposée à l'utilisateur, c'est-à-dire la face inférieure 3 du corps et, au moins, en partie les deux bords latéraux longitudinaux 4 de celui-ci, caractérisée en ce que la couche d'arrêt 2 est constituée par deux bandes ayant des bords situés sur la face inférieure 3 du corps absorbant, lesdits bords se recouvrant, tandis que les autres bords desdites bandes sont essentiellement parallèles et séparés l'un de l'autre d'une certaine distance. Application comme articles d'hygiène.
