Abstract

A directional aerial array which operates in the decimeter wave band may be used for TV. It consists of a primary (1) and a secondary aerial section (2) with a reflective surface. It also has a unidimensionally curved surface in the form of a cylindrical parabolic mirror. The surface of the reflector has a support area (9) with two unidimensionally curved surfaces (10, 11) symmetrically mounted. They are both approximately at right angles to the primary aerial section (1, 6, 7). They can also rotate around an axis parallel to the longitudinal direction of the support section. When full deflected they will enclose the entire primary section.
