Abstract
PURPOSE:To establish the solar power generation antenna in which the subarray consisting of waveguide slot array antenna is densely located at the center and coarsely at the circumference, solar cells are located at the part where no subarray is located. CONSTITUTION:In the array antenna 2 having the circular aperture 1 about 1km in diameter, the aperture 1 is equally divided by 100 longitudinally and laterally into about 8,000 pieces of aperture blocks 3. In the blocks 3, the subarray 4 consisting of the waveguide slot array antenna provided with a number of radiation slots 6 to the waveguide 5 is disposed. In this case, the subarray 4 is located at the center of the aperture 1 in full aperture blocks 3 and at the circumference with vacant blocks 3 to reduce the side lobe of the array antenna 2. In the vacant blocks 3, the solar cell panel 7 and the antenna attitude detector 8 are provided to make most use of the space of construction.
