Abstract
Les couches alternent le long d'un axe commun qui s'étend dans la direction longitudinale du palier. Les couches comprennent au moins une couche d'élastomère qui, si elle était réalisée de façon à avoir un module d'élasticité nominalement constant sur toute son étendue et si elle était soumise à une charge de compression, subirait au voisinage de l'une de ses circonférences interne et externe une tension de cisaillement plus élevée que la tension de cisaillement au voisinage de l'autre circonférence. Pour éviter ou réduire au minimum l'usure inégale résultant des différences de tension de cisaillement, la couche d'élastomère est réalisée de manière à présenter au moins deux modules d'élasticité différents. Le rapport entre les tensions de cisaillement au voisinage des circonférences de la couche est inférieur à ce qu'il serait si la couche avait un module d'élasticité nominalement constant sur toute son étendue.
