Un ordinateur universel 40 commande les différents sous-ensembles d'un appareil de forage pétrolier 20 par l'intermédiaire de dispositifs de commande appropriés. Ainsi, un dispositif de commande de gerbage 35 est associé au dispositif de gerbage 34, un dispositif de commande de treuil 21 est associé au dispositif à treuil 22, et un dispositif de commande de pinces 29 est associé au dispositif à pincer automatiques 28. Application au forage de puits de pétrole.
