Abstract

The skip is connected to a mounting frame. The frame carries a first sprocket (26) driven by a shaft connected to the tractor power take off. A chain (38) takes the drive to a gearbox (25) which turns the drive through 90 deg. to a telescopic shaft (36) which drives a sprocket (35). A chain (34) takes the drive to the sprocket (33) which drives a screw in the skip to discharge material from the opposite end. The frame is pivotally mounted at the bottom on the tractor and a jack extending between the rear top of the skip and the tractor effects pivoting of the skip.
