Abstract

The two-wheeled vehicle has retractable stabiliser (12-14) rolling or sliding over the ground each side of the centre line, so as to hold it upright both when stopped and moving. Controls for retraction and extension of the stabiliser are included. The vehicle can have integral streamlining forming an enclosed body, with a chassis at the bottom against which the stabilisers fold when retracted an an access door. The stabilisers can be arranged to extend and retract automatically below or above a predetermined critical speed.
