Abstract

The agricultural machine is for simultaneously securing to the ground a strip of plastic much to sow the seed. It has a strip unrolling mechanism and pairs of seed distributors, together with pairs of eccentric wheels with planting punches. These perforate the strip, dig a vertical hole in the ground and deposit a seed at the bottom. There is a pair of floating chassis independent of each other, each with a wheel, and a pair of driving wheels, each mounted on a floating chassis and with an adjustment keeping it permanently in contact with the ground. Means for lifting and adjusting the floating chassis are provided. A pair of devices open a furrow in front of the unrolling mechanism, the latter, together with these devices and the lifting mechanism, being mounted on a main chassis. A pair of depth wheels give adjustable pressure of the eccentric wheels on the strip, dependent on soil conditions and weather.
