Abstract

Dispositif permettant de régler automatiquement un compteur d'affranchissement en fonction du poids et de la destination d'un paquet. Ce dispositif comprend un mécanisme de balance pour engendrer des signaux représentant des poids; L'affranchissement du paquet peut être d'éterminé par conversion du code postal de destination en une zone de destination. La zone de destination utilisée pour retrouver un montant d'affranchissement minimal et des montants d'affranchissement incrémentiels est applicable pour cette zone à partir d'une mémoire de données. Le signal représentant le poids est successivement décrémenté tandis que les montants d'affranchissement sont incrémentés en même temps et en synchronisme jusqu'à ce qu'un circuit de contrôle de signaux établisse que le signal représentant le poids décrémenté est devenu égal à zéro. Application à l'affranchissement automatique de paquets en fonction du poids, de la zone de destination et de la catégorie d'acheminement.
