Abstract

L'invention concerne un comparateur d'épaisseur de matières en feuille. Il comporte un émetteur constitué par un noyau magnétique cylindrique sur lequel est enfilée une bobine et un récepteur comprenant également un noyau magnétique cylindrique sur lequel est enfié une autre bobine. L'émetteur et le récepteur sont alignés axialement et sont écartés chacun d'une distance constante de la feuille dont l'épaisseur peut être mesurée. L'émetteur reçoit un courant qui développe un champ magnétique dont l'amplitude au récepteur indique l'épaisseur de la feuille. L'invention s'applique notamment à la mesure de l'épaisseur de feuilles de papier.
