Abstract

Traitement superficiel du titane. Pour améliorer les propriétés de frottement du titane et de ses alliages (notamment TA6V) on leur applique le traitement prévu au brevet principal pour les aciers en utilisant l'étain comme métal d'apport et en travaillant entre 700 et 1000 degrés C. Suivant la température le composé principal obtenu est Sn 3 Ti5 ou Sn5 Ti6 . La courbe montre la dureté superficielle pour une pièce traitée à 730 degrés C pendant 2 heures. Application à la modification des propriétés superficielles des pièces à base de titane.
