Abstract
An aerator for immersion in liqs., e.g. sewage consits of a centrifugal pump, driven by a submersible motor, which is surmounted by a blower, driven by another motor. The blower supplies air to the space between the jet nozzles at the pump discharge and the collector nozzles. The ratio of the speeds of pump motor and blower motor can be varied and/or set. This makes it possible to set the air supply to the optimum for widely varying conditions.
