Abstract

L'invention décrit un procédé pour préparer, sous forme particulaire, un catalyseur comportant comme liant un hydrogel d'oxyde minéral. On combine une suspension de zéolite et/ou d'argile, dans une solution aqueuse d'un silicate et/ou aluminate alcalin et/ou de sel de magnésium, avec un constituant acide (acide minéral et/ou sel d'acide dissous dans de l'eau) pour former un mélange fluide à gélification rapide que l'on disperse immédiatement sous forme de gouttelettes dans un milieu gazeux où les gouttelettes se gélifient en donnant des particules sphéroïdales du catalyseur que l'on collecte. Application des particules (après lavage et échange d'ions) : craquage catalytique d'hydrocarbures du pétrole.
