Abstract
The telecontrol system has a radio transmitter (9) which transmits signals to the underwater equipment. The signals are detected by a receiver mounted on a buoy (4) floating above the underwater equipment. The received signals are transformed into control signals which are sent to a power group on the buoy which controls the immersed equipment via underwater cable connections (5). To make the connection between the buoy (4) and the cables (5) the buoy is weighted down so as to become submerged. The connection is then made and the buoy is then lightened to tension the cable.
