Abstract

L'invention concerne un câble électrique pour télécommunications tel qu'un câble de raccordement pour abonnés à deux conducteurs, se présentant sous forme d'un câble jumelé comprenant une enveloppe en matière thermoplastique ou en élastomère dont la forme en coupe transversale est relativement plate, des conducteurs séparés l'un de l'autre par un intervalle et un dispositif de soulagement de traction disposé entre ces conducteurs en leur milieu et encastrés dans l'enveloppe, dispositif qui prend en charge les forces de traction se manifestant sur le câble dans le sens de sa longueur. Le dispositif de soulagement de traction est constitué par au moins deux organes porteurs 14 en fibres à haute résistance disposés symétriquement l'un par rapport à l'autre et par rapport aux conducteurs 10. Ces organes porteurs sont constitués par exemple par des faisceaux de fibres de verre, par des fibres de graphite ou par des fibres de polyamide aromatique.
