Abstract

Section de câble sous-marin de télécommunication constituée par un tronçon de câble sous-marin principal relié à un court tronçon de câble arrivant d'un boîtier de répéteur, le tronçon de cable principal étant armé au moins au voisinage du répéteur. La connexion du tronçon de câble principal 1 avec le court tronçon de câble 2 arrivant du boîtier de répéteur est espacée du boîtier de répéteur, il est prévu, le long du câble 2, des moyens de renforcement tubulaires 27, 28 qui augmentent nettement la résistance à la flexion du câble 2, l'armure du tronçon de câble câble 2 et les moyens de renforcement sont ancrés sur le boîtier de répéteur. Cette structure limite les efforts fléchissants, générateurs de dommages subis par le câble lors de sa pose et de sa remontée.
