Abstract

The toaster has a casing (1) with a rectangular slot (3) in one side (2) in which a slice of bread is inserted. Inside the casing (1), on each side of the slot (3) are two heating elements (4, 5). Pivot mounted between them is a support tray (14) for the bread slices. Part of the tray protrudes outside the casing (1). The tray(14) is in the form of a grille with radial arms (15) joined together by circular pieces (16). The tray (14) is driven and rotated by an electric motor (10). The output shaft (11)drives the vertical spindle (13) of the tray (14) by means of a reducer (12). A time switch (7, 8) is coupled to a push button switch (6).
