Abstract

The wall unit consists of rigid box-sections forming standardised shelves which are attached to the wall by rectangular strip metal brackets. The top of the bracket has a single notch which is cylindrical at the bottom. The back surface of the bracket has a cut-out section. The bracket is fixed by a pin through a vertical channel section. The notch is placed underneath the pin. The internal width of the support section is minimum necessary to place two brackets side by side around the same pin. A bracket is bolted alongside each side of each box section shelf through two holes in the bracket.
