Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé pour déterminer les températures critiques de corrosion. La température d'un électrolyte, dans lequel sont immergées une électrode d'essai et au moins une autre électrode, est fixée à une valeur déterminée, après quoi la différence de potentiel entre les électrodes, ou intensité entre les électrodes pour une différence de potentiel constante entre celles-ci, est mesurée et comparée à une tension ou une intensité de référence prédéterminée, puis en conséquence de cette comparaison, soit la température fixée est enregistrée comme température critique, soit la température de l'électrolyte est modifiée et l'opération de mesure et de comparaison est recommencée.
