Abstract

Ces nouveaux dérivés 1-N-( omega -aminoalkanesulfonyl) d'antibiotiques aminoglycosidiques tels que la ribostamyane, la 3'désoxy ou 3'4'-didésoxyribostamycine, la kanamycine A ou B et la 3'-désoxy où 3'4' -didésoxykanamycine B présentent un spectre antibactérien plus large que celui des antibiotiques amino-glycosidiques d'origine; ils sont utiles dans le traitement des infections causées par les bactéries gram-positives et gramnégatives, y compris leurs souches résistant aux médicaments. Ces dérivés sont obtenus par réaction entre l'antibiotique et un halogénure d'acide omega -aminoalkanesulfonyl amino protégé suivie de l'élimination du groupe amino-protecteur. Ils présentent la formule générale suivante : RNHSO2 (CH2 )n NH2 dans laquelle RNH- réprésente le résidu d'un antibiotique amino-glycosidique contenant dans sa molécule le radical 2désoxystreptamine, l'atome d'azote dans le résidu RNH - étant lié à l'atome de carbone en position 1 du radical 2-désoxystreptamine, et n représente un nombre entier tel que 2, 3 ou 4.
