Abstract

Ce dispositif comprend un disque de frein et deux mâchoires à pistons opposés actionnés hydrauliquement et coopérant avec les faces opposées de ce disque. Cet ensemble de freinage est caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend deux blocs 22 et 23 coopérant avec la couronne extérieure 2c du disque 2 par rapport auquel ils sont portés, en des directions diamétralement opposées, chacun de ces blocs 22 et 23 pivotant sur une mâchoire correspondante 7, 8 avec un axe de pivotement 20a, 21a perpendiculaire aux faces 2, 2a, 2b du disque, les axes de pivotement de ces blocs 22 et 23 étant symétriques et diamétralement opposés par rapport au disque 2.
