Abstract

L'invention concerne les véhicules. Système de freinage pour véhicule entraîné par moteur à combustion interne. On sait que le fonctionnement des soupapes du moteur peut être modifié pour transformer le moteur en compresseur d'air et faire que ce moteur ait un effet de freinage. Conformément à l'invention, on accroît le volume d'air dans le moteur lorsqu'on souhaite freiner. S'il s'agit de moteurs équipés d'un turbochargeur, la turbine est à géométrie variable et peut conduire à un accroissement de la vitesse du compresseur. Il s'agit donc d'une compensation de la réduction de la vitesse du compresseur s'accompagnant d'une réduction d'énergie du moteur, au freinage
