Abstract
The rear end of the firework or missile assembly has a tapered secton (2) and fins (3) to give stable flight direction and the projective carries a charge appropriate to its use. At a determined point in its flight this can be fired and separation can take place. The missile carries a propulsive charge (13) and a methode of ensuring that the separated part and its charge, very quickly can fall in a vertical direction. The propulsive charge can be powder or gas. If of powder it is in the form of a block or variable section or it can be of several powders of different combustion speeds. The pyrotechnic charge is held in a case (12).
