Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé pour la thermo-impression d'un matériau textile longitudinal. Le procédé consiste à mettre en contact une face de matériau textile et une face d'un support longitudinal inerte porteur de colorants sublimables y définissant un motif, et à provoquer par chauffage la sublimation des colorants et leur transfert du support au matériau textile. Il est caractérisé en ce que l'on forme le support en juxtaposant transversalement une pluralité de bandes longitudinales avec un chevauchement latéral mutuel de deux bandes voisines décalant transversalement les motifs portés par ces deux bandes d'une valeur correspondant à la moitié de la somme des retraits subis respectivement par l'une et l'autre dans le sens de leur largeur du fait dudit chauffage afin que les motifs portés par ces deux bandes se raccordent exactement dans les conditions de chauffage.
