Abstract
Scellement d'un tube en électrolyte céramique solide, par exemple alumine bêta, dans une pile électrochimique. Un anneau 40 en alumine alpha est scellé au verre, en 41, sur l'extrémité d'un tube en alumine bêta 30 pour constituer un support rigide sur lequel sont scellés des organes métalliques 36, 49. Ce scellement est opéré au moyen d'élements mous 51, 52, en aluminium, formant des couches intermédiaires entre des facettes tronconiques 43, 44 de l'anneau 40 et des facettes complémentaires des organes 36, 49. L'aluminium, déformé par pression axiale, pénètre dans des gorges 45, 46 ménagées dans l'anneau 40. Application, entre autres, aux piles au sodium-soufre.
