Séparateur pour accumulateurs au plomb. Il consiste en une matière mise sous forme de pièce moulée sous pression et ayant la propriété de former un gel avec l'électrolyte à l'acide sulfurique. Application essentiellement aux accumulateurs sans entretien, à grilles en alliages ne contenant pas d'antimoine.
