Abstract

The abutment has an outside flange (10) with a central coaxial sleeve (13). The abutment is connected to the clutch mechanism by the central sleeve. The outside face of the flange (15) abuts the outer cylinder assembly (12). This assembly consists of an inner race (18) and an outer race (19) for the ball race. The rear face of the flange has a flat surface (16) to take the ring (17), which is in the form of an open circlip. The outside of the ball race is covered with a flanged sleeve (20).
