Abstract

Mécanisme destiné à ferler le foc d'un catamaran à voiles, en l'enroulant autour de l'étai du mât. Ce mécanisme est situé plus bas que le point de raccordement à l'étai des deux brides métalliques qui assujettissent ce dernier aux deux coques ou flotteurs du bateau, ce qui augmente la surface efficace de la voile Ces brides s'articulent à des éléments du logement du mécanisme en question, logement dans lequel coulisse un ridoir destiné à régler l'inclinaison du mât. Il est possible d'affaler le foc sans détacher l'étai ou de le ferler en l'enroulant autour de ce dernier au moyen du mécanisme selon l'invention. Application aux bateaux à voiles du type catamaran.
