Abstract

L'invention concerne l'industrie organique des ions cobalt Elle a pour objet un procédé pour récupérer des ions cobalt et bromure d'une liqueur mère résultant de l'oxydation en phase liquide d'une alimentation en un acide monocarboxylique ou polycarboxylique par un gaz contenant de l'oxygène moléculaire en présence d un catalyseur comprenant des ions cobalt et bromure, suivant lequel on ajuste la concentration de la liqueur mère et le rapport entre les ions cobalt et bromure, on met la liqueur mère en contact avec une résine échangeuse d'anions et on élue la résine de manière à se débarrasser aussi d'autres impuretés, comme le fer. Ce procedé est préféré pour récupérer le cobalt après oxydation du p-xylène en acide téréphtalique.
