Abstract
The heat recovery appliance has a radial-flow rotor (3) which is arranged coaxially inside or outside a capillary-flow rotor (2) and is rotatably mounted independently thereof. The radial-flow rotor (3) and the capillary-flow rotor (2) can rotate in the same sense or in opposite sense at rotational speeds which are equal or differ from one another. The appliance is of compact design and achieves a high degree of heat recovery, because at all times there is a vigorous flow through the full cross section of the capillary-flow rotor (2) and an optimum amount of heat is carried along by the inlet air from the capillary-flow rotor (2).
