Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de préparation d'une suspension combustible stabilisée dans laquelle on mélange une huile combustible pétrolière avec de la houille tout venant et avec un émulsifiant qui peut former une émulsion thixotrope à phase externe aqueuse et phase interne riche en huile. On brasse mécaniquement la suspension pour broyer le charbon de façon à obtenir une suspension combustible stabilisée contenant des particules de charbon dont les diamètres peuvent être aussi importants qu'environ 0,63 cm. On obtient alors une suspension combustible stabilisée que l'on peut pomper et que l'on peut utiliser comme combustible dans des hauts-fourneaux, des chaudières, etc.
