Abstract

La présente invention a trait à la dégradation par oxydation chimique des impuretés organiques et inorganiques contenues dans les eaux résiduaires. On utilise comme promoteur des gaz et/ou des mélanges de gaz activés, dissociés et/ou au moins partiellement ionisés, dans une quantité convenable pour former suffisamment de radicaux libres qui déclenchent l'oxydation et régénèrent ou réactivent également en continu le catalyseur consommé. L'ionisation ou la dissociation du partenaire gazeux de la réaction est effectuée, de façon avantageuse, par irradiation ou par énergie électrique.
