Abstract

A multiple container is used to hold trays and plates and is divided into sections for cooked and uncooked food to be served at varying temperatures. The plate is of thick ceramic and consists of a bottom portion (1), and a raised rim surrounding the whole (2). There are partitions (3) arranged inside the surrounding rim. An electric element (4) with protruding contact points (5, 6) is buried within the thickness of the ceramic bottom of the plate. The presentation tray is made of isothermic material of sufficient resistance. It does not incorporate an electric element, and makes only point contact with the ceramic plate. It is either concave or convex and placed to receive automatically the heating contact points (5, 6) of the plates.
